Show each product's country of origin on its product page.

   Create the product metafields

   Open Settings > Custom data > Products and add these single-line text metafields (only custom.country_of_origin is required; the others are optional):

   Fill in each product

   On a product, set country_of_origin to a country name (e.g. Italy) or an ISO code (e.g. IT). Known countries show a flag and tidy name automatically; anything else shows a globe and your text as entered.

   Add the block to your theme

   In the theme editor, open a Product template, click Add block, and choose Country of Origin. Save. The origin badge appears automatically per product.
